Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a specialty in dentistry that is concerned with the guidance, treatment and correction of improper alignments of teeth, bites and jaws. When a dog presents a tooth or teeth in the wrong position, this can lead to significant pain for the patient. Instead of extracting the offending teeth, often the teeth can be moved into the proper position. By doing this, the pet keeps the teeth for normal function.
