Oral Surgery

Oral surgery encompasses many different surgical procedures that can be done in the mouth. This ranges from surgical tooth extractions, repairing fistulas and removing tumors in the mouth.

Oral surgery includes the use of dental nerve blocks while the patient is under anesthesia which also aids in post-operative pain management.

After: Repair with a single mucoperiosteal flap.

Before: Peripheral odontogenic fibroma affecting the 1st premolar.

After: En bloc resection of fibroma with associated teeth and bone.

Fractured mandible with intra-oral splint to stabilize.

Oral trauma with a fractured mandible. Elastic power chain to hold mandible in place while fracture heals.
